The Studio

No templates. No shortcuts. Just intentional design for every course.

The story behind the work

From art to disc golf.

Happy Little Accidents began where visual art and disc golf happened to meet.

I studied visual art in the early 2000s—the same time I discovered disc golf. My first creative outlet in the game was dyeing discs in a loose, layered style that felt almost watercolor in nature. Inspired by everyone’s favorite landscape artist, the name naturally fit.

Made by hand

The illustration is part of the experience.

Every course and every hole begins as a blank canvas. The header paintings on this site use the same layered process that shapes the course artwork.

The point of view
So many great courses have one glaring weakness: lazy signage.

Flat. Generic. Uninspired. It checks the box, but that’s about it. The goal here is to create something a course designer can be proud of and something players actually remember.

Designed to be remembered

02

No templates

03

Built for the course

Layout, terrain, flow, and local character drive every decision.

Your course is the source material

Let’s turn what makes it special into something visible.
