Century Park
This was a great project with one of the highest-rated and older courses in the Upstate Area. Unfortunately, the existing signs were as basic as basic gets. We were lucky enough to get asked to redo these tee signs and give the course the representation off the teepad it deserved!
There were a few fun elements with this course that we incorporated into the signs. The railroad that runs along the back of the course is a standout feature of both the course as well as the tee signs on Holes 4 and 11. The parking lot on the first and last holes was interesting to illustrate.
There is also a river that snakes it’s way throughout some of the course as well as a large ravine on the front 9 that we tried to illustrate.
We also tried to organically insert the mandatory and out of bounds indicators as well that do their job at letting you know they’re there, without interrupting the flow and overall design of the sign.
